Fasting and Praying Week 2022

posted in: Fasting and Pray

..if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

2 Chr 7:4

– I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

1 Timothy 2:1-2

January is a moment to embrace God’s promises. These Bible verses invite us to take a posture; it is also a time to do it intentionally.

We want to invite you; to unite in fasting and pray during the First Week of January. We know, the real battle is not a human one but spiritual. We are all invited to join in prayer with thousands around the globe, who fast and pray this week. Pray together with your family, your local church, your conference, the colleagues in the ministry you are part of.

  1. Dennis Fast

Thank you for planning this prayer event. Please plan others in the future. The U.S. time conflicts with work requirements but I hope to join another group if possible. I value the I Timothy 2 passage so much. Dennis Fast
